SÉRIE : A LÂMPADA, O CORPO E A SOMBRA
Na penumbra moldada pela luz única de uma lâmpada exposta, o corpo deixa de ser apenas matéria para tornar-se escultura viva. Cada fotografia desta série é como um ato de uma coreografia silenciosa, onde o modelo dança não para o público, mas para a própria sombra.
A iluminação low key — precisa, dramática e controlada — revela volumes com o rigor de um cinzel grego, talhando músculos e gestos como se fossem mármore aquecido. O fotógrafo constrói cada cena como um escultor que domina não apenas a forma, mas também o vazio ao redor: o negro absoluto da imagem não é ausência, mas território sagrado, moldura de um corpo que respira liderança e entrega em ciclos.
As poses, ora tensas e verticais, ora rendidas e quase líquidas, narram uma sucessão de momentos em que a força cede ao equilíbrio, e o equilíbrio se dobra à vulnerabilidade. SERIES: THE LAMP, THE BODY, AND THE SHADOW
In the gloom molded by the unique light of an exposed lamp, the body ceases to be merely matter and becomes a living sculpture. Each photograph in this series is like an act of a silent choreography, where the model dances not for the audience, but for his own shadow.
The low key lighting - precise, dramatic, and controlled - reveals volumes with the rigor of a Greek chisel, sculpting muscles and gestures as if they were heated marble. The photographer constructs each scene like a sculptor who dominates not only the form but also the emptiness around it: the absolute blackness of the image is not absence, but sacred territory, a frame for a body that breathes leadership and surrender in cycles.
The poses, sometimes tense and vertical, sometimes surrendered and almost liquid, narrate a succession of moments where strength yields to balance, and balance bends to vulnerability. As in classical reliefs, there is always a contained energy, a movement interrupted at its peak, so that the viewer’s gaze completes the dance.
